Elvin William Warwick, Sr. was born May 16, 1929 in Jackson, AL and passed away August 3, 2009.  He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lupe Warwick; sons, Elvin Warwick, Jr. & wife Fran, John Warwick & wife Mickie; daughters, Rose Mary White & husband Roy, Linda Lindsey & husband Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Blanche Williams & Onita Simmons.

He did his honorable service to God, his Country and the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. 

Part 1 – Funeral and Interment Service:  Thursday, August 6, 2009, 2:00 PM

Staging – 1:00 PM; Briefing – 1:15 PM; Flags in place by 1:45 PM.

We will set our flag line and stand tall and silent as the family and guests to arrive for the funeral.  Once the service begins we will break down the flag line and prepare to reset the flag line in the cemetery.

We will stand tall and silent in honor of Elvin Warwick.  

Weather:  Mostly sunny.  Highs around 100.  Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.  Heat index will be 103 degrees.

With the hot weather being here please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately.  Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time.  Also, please don’t forget your sun screen.

The flag and water truck will be at the location.

Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated. 

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor and respect for this member of The Greatest Generation and his family.
